The Hill O' Many Stanes (Stones) is situated in Mid Clyth which is 4 or 5 miles from the village of Lybster.  Nobody can actually say how old these rows of stones are although they are believed to be around 4,000 years old. Today there are around 200 stones of up to a metre high remaining with smaller stones nearby.  The village of Lybster has a harbour, hotels and a primary school. There is a bowling club, and also a nine-hole golf course. Secondary education can be found in Wick which is a short bus journey away.
